We ship our bikes 95% assembled so assembly consists of straightening the handlebars, installing the pedals and, inserting the battery.
We cannot confirm any shipping costs yet but we expect EU and U.S shipping to be less than $40 per bike.
Currently, we’re planning to ship right across the world. If it transpires that we cannot ship to your country, we will issue you a full refund.
Yes, the bikes are manufactured according to the standard EN15194 and are street-legal in the European Union. The bikes are labelled with EN15194 marking and the motors have CE marking.
Our bikes are limited to the top speed of 25 km/h by default. This means that the motor will only help you up to 25km/h but you can pedal faster unassisted.
Testing is the only sure way to ensure the highest quality and safety for our bikes. This is why Modmo doesn’t cut corners when it comes to performing a large range of fatigue, impact, bending and force tests on our components. Our bikes are designed to exceed ISO(4210-1:2014) standards by at least 20%.
Absolutely nothing. After running out of battery power or turning off the pedal assist, you can still ride like any regular bicycle.
