Weekly Update: July 29th
Hey guys, we are back with our fifth and final Weekly Update for the month of July. We have updates regarding our rear Electroluminescent Paint and our MOD Accessories for the Saigon.
Electroluminescent Paint
Our goal has always been to create the safest e-bike on the road and we strongly believe that having synchronized turn signals on both the handlebars and rear Electroluminescent paint, will significantly help motorists recognize you and where you’re going while riding the Saigon.
As promised, here’s our latest iteration of our Electroluminescent Paint in action on the Saigon, with the color orange to comply with German cycling safety standards. We are really happy with how it is performing, being a brand new technology in this application. It’s ticking all the boxes in aiding rider visibility and overall functionality, especially given that this is paint and not an actual light. We’re still experimenting to perfect the exact color shade, size and positioning and we’ll continue sharing with you as we progress toward our final prototype. With that said, this feature is optional should anyone decide they don’t want the Electroluminescent Paint on their version of the Saigon.
MODS Update
We know there’s a lot of justified anticipation for the wide array of MODS we’ll be offering with the Saigon. We prioritized the development of the Front Basket and Rear Pannier Rack, which will begin shipping alongside Batch 1 in September. We will have physical prototypes of both MODS for you very soon. We have several other MODS being developed and in the pipeline and we’ll be sure to keep you updated as development continues progressing with our MOD accessories.

wir sind zurück mit unserem fünften und letzten Update für den Monat Juli. Wir haben nur ein paar Updates für euch, diese sind aber wichtig, also lasst uns mit unserem wöchentlichen Update anfangen!
Elektrolumineszierende Lackierung
Unser Ziel war es schon immer, das sicherste E-Bike auf der Straße zu kreieren. Wir glauben fest daran, dass synchronisierte Blinker sowohl für den Lenker als auch für die hintere Elektrolumineszenz-Lackierung den Autofahrern deutlich helfen werden, dich zu erkennen und wahryunehmen, wohin du fährst, während du auf dem Saigon unterwegs bist.
Wie versprochen, ist hier die neueste Version unserer Elektrolumineszenz-Lackierung in der Farbe Orange, um den deutschen Fahrrad-Sicherheitsstandards zu entsprechen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit der Leistung, denn es ist eine brandneue Technologie in dieser Anwendung. Sie unterstützt die Sichtbarkeit des Fahrers und die allgemeine Funktionalität, vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, dass es sich um Farbe und nicht um ein Licht handelt. Wir experimentieren noch immer, um den genauen Farbton, die Größe und die Positionierung zu perfektionieren. Wir werden weiterhin mit euch auf dem Laufenden halten.Abgesehen davon ist dieses Feature optional, falls einer von euch entscheiden sollte, dass ihr die Elektrolumineszenz-Lackierung auf eurer Version des Saigons nicht haben wollt.
MODs Update
Wir wissen, dass es eine Menge gerechtfertigter Vorfreude auf die große Auswahl an MODS gibt, die wir mit dem Saigon anbieten werden.Wir priorisieren die Entwicklung des vorderen Korbs und des hinteren Gepäckträgers, die im September zusammen mit Batch 1 ausgeliefert werden. Wir werden sehr bald Prototypen für euch haben.Wir haben mehrere MODs in der Entwicklung und in der Pipeline, und wir werden die Fortschritte mit euch teilen, während die Entwicklung unserer MODs weiter voran schreitet.
