Update: Ready, set, scale🚀

Behind the scenes at MODMO with CEO, Jack O’Sullivan.

I have lots to share with you this month, from a big scale-up, to our Vietnam office’s new friendly mascots!

Scaling Up and New Tools

The past month’s focus has been ensuring our systems are set up to scale up with a large amount of new bikes scheduled to come online over the coming months.

We're going from 100 -> 250 -> 350 bikes per month in July, August & September so we're putting steps in place to ensure customers have direct access to the information they need. We added some new tools such as a track my bike page and are making improvements to 'my account' so you can update order details without contacting customer service.

News From Production

Following on from introducing Nhan, our new head of production, to you last month, we were happy to have a big increase in top-quality, beautiful bikes coming off the assembly line. We were able to eliminate the minor issues that we experienced during assembly on our first batch and this time, 100% of the bikes off the line were aesthetically perfect.

We also now have 2 MODS - a front basket and rear rack - that are finished R&D and are entering production. We can't wait to share more with you soon.

Lockdown in Vietnam

Just two days after we finished production, Ho Chi Minh City went into a strict lockdown after seeing COVID cases rise dramatically.

This is the first time the MODMO Vietnam team has had to work from home, so we can't really complain when compared with the team in Europe, but I'll be working & living in the office so I've introduced 4 ducks to the team.

Other than this, HCMC's lockdown won't impact MODMO much. Since we are an international company with teams all over the world, you can expect the same level of service going forward and all our batches are currently still on track for delivery.
