A new member of the MODMO Family
We are super excited this week because we have a new addition to the MODMO family. The SAIGON has gotten a younger brother – we call it the SAIGON S. We have taken it for a studio photoshoot so we can show you guys the crisp details soon. Martin also went around the city streets to get familiar with it and came back calling it his new best friend. While they were out there, Martin and our graphic designer, Shin, did some cool street photography with the bike as well.
What is the SAIGON S all about?
The SAIGON S is a brand-new bike that we are adding to our product lineup at Modmo. It is a lightweight, single speed bike that we have designed for the urban user on the go. It retains some of the great advantages of its bigger brother, but also its own in other ways. Watch the video to see Martin give a brief introduction to the SAIGON S.
A sneak peek of the SAIGON S
One of the key features we have retained is the super smooth and quiet front motor that lets you zoom through streets like a breeze. The frame is still super stealthy looking and retains the key functionality of the modular mounts in the back and front and as you can see in the video our beautifully crafted welds are visible. There is also the hydraulic brakes from TekTro which offer amazing stopping power, and the super cool integrated Bekan light under the seat. At your feet, we’ve got the Gates crank-set which is chain driven and single speed. And for your touchpoint with the road we have the super reliable puncture protection tyres with K-shield which Martin insists never fail him.

Inspiriert für eine bessere urbane Umwelt
Wir sind diese Woche super aufgeregt, denn wir haben einen Neuzugang in der Modmo Familie. Das SAIGON hat einen jüngeren Bruder bekommen - wir nennen es, das SAIGON S. Wir haben es für ein Fotoshooting im Studio mitgenommen, damit wir euch bald die genauen Details zeigen können. Martin fuhr damit auch durch die Straßen der Stadt, um sich mit ihm vertraut zu machen. Als er zurückkam, nannte er ihn seinen neuen besten Freund. Während sie draußen waren, haben Martin und unser Grafikdesigner, Shin, auch ein paar coole Straßenfotos mit dem Bike gemacht.
Was hat es mit dem Saigon S auf sich?
Das SAIGON S ist ein brandneues Bike, das wir bei Modmo in unsere Produktpalette aufnehmen - ein leichtes Single-Speed Bike, das wir für den urbanen Nutzer unterwegs entwickelt haben. Es behält einige Vorteile seines größeren Bruders - des Saigon+. Es ist aber auch in anderer Hinsicht etwas Besonderes. Seht euch das Video an, in dem Martin eine kurze Einführung zum Saigon S gibt.
Ein kleiner Vorgeschmack auf das SAIGON S
Eines der Hauptmerkmale, das wir beibehalten haben, ist der superleichte und leise Frontmotor, mit dem ihr wie eine Brise durch die Straßen zischen könnt. Der Rahmen sieht immer noch super unauffällig aus und behält die Schlüsselfunktion der modularen Halterungen hinten und vorne bei. Wie ihr im Video sehen könnt, sind unsere wunderschön gearbeiteten Schweißnähte sichtbar. Außerdem gibt es die hydraulischen Bremsen von TekTro, die erstaunliche Bremskraft bieten, und das super coole integrierte Bekan-Licht unter dem Sitz. Zu euren Füßen haben wir das Gates Crank-Set, die kettengetrieben und eingängig ist. Für euren Berührungspunkt mit der Straße haben wir die super zuverlässigen Pannenschutzreifen mit K-Shield, bei denen Martin darauf besteht, dass sie nie versagen.
